Ghigos will attend to “Food Project. The shape of taste” exhibition, organized at Mart Museum in Rovereto and curated by Beppe Finessi with the projects Condivisa and Sbrodolino. The exhibition presents the art of industrial projects and experimental design applied to foods. To the event, that will run from 9th February to 2nd June 2013, will take part designers, architects, international chef and and critics who have for years examined the relationship between food and design.
From the experiment of “Apparecchiare la città” presented at Salone del Mobile of Milan was born the first collection for “Lago Maggiore Casalinghi” brand. The products, that will be presented for the first time at Ambiente 2013, will animate a lake landscape, to recreate an urbanized archipelago. Ghigos ideas designed the collection and also will curate the exhibition.
Ghigos Ideas becomes the art director for Casalinghi Lago Maggiore, brand that represents and reflects the excellence of the sector and promotes the District production across the international markets.
Ghigos Ideas is the new art director for Spezie&Co , factory located in Omegna and specialized in spice mill and table wares. Ghigos, who has already designed some of the brand products, will restyle the look and the corporate image to create a new “taste and style boutique”. Visit the new website!
After the conferences linked to Ivrea International Summer School, Ghigos Ideas took part in Design Now?, a series of meeting organized by Ordine degli Architetti di Monza e Brianza. The conference took place at Sala Civica “Radio” in Meda (MI) on 15 of November. The event, focused on Serendipity, was the opportunity for architects to face with student and citizien.
The new structure Cam in Monza, a project by Ghigos Ideas and Logh, is opened on November 15. It’s a private clinic that walks towards the domestic spaces, to pick their sensations and ricreate a warm and friendly atmosphere. The colours and the materials used are classic with some surprising elements to create amazement.
University campus of Mantoa changes skin and Ghigos Ideas draws the restyling. It’s a project that looks at the past to build a new knowledge, remaining closed to the present and to the future. The theme will be the short story, because the words “weigh as stones”. The following step is a sequence of architectural quotes that becomes a guide into the building to tell something about University community, about what we are, and what we want to be.
Ghigos Ideas is going to be involved in the series of meetings linked to Ivrea International Summer School. The summer school, promoted by Politecnico of Milan togheter with Comune di Ivrea and Adiano Olivetti Foundation, now in its sixth edition, worked on the urban trasormation of work-spaces. Ghigos fits into this context, showing the possibilities of work spaces as temporary exhibition.
Ghigos awards the creative contest of Soges, a reference brand in counselling and professional services. A new coordinated graphic design where Innovation and Tradition become not antithetical terms: it is almost as if the first is based on the second and in that is validated. The innovative features are told in a almost encyclopedic way and the “story of the great innovations” becomes the metaphor to tell Soges’s world.
From july 5 until July 8, Ghigos Ideas will attend to Studi Aperti festival in Ameno (NO), during the exhibition Paesaggi Mirati. Ghigos will show Apparecchiare la città, the installation presented at Milan Design Week. A city of objects, a landscape “at hand”: a table that welcomes as elevations some iconic monument-objects. Who couldn’t see the exhibition in Milan…come and discover a new toponymy!
