Ghigos invites the city of Lissone to mobilize itself and to realize a symbolic “design walk”, a collective show that will involve all the representatives of the design world during Milan Design Week 2014. The march, that will reach important Milan landmarks, is the first step of a bigger project aimed to turn Lissone into an“immaterial museum”.

Racconti di design is the new project of Ghigos towards the city of Lissone: the people’s stories, the designer’s quotes, the dialogues between designers and producers will turn into furniture and graphic decoration for the city. It’s an open project, that grows up from the community, wandering your stories and your design aphorisms. Ghigos will participate in the exhibition PADIGLIONEITALIA during Milan Design Week 2014. Whitin the general theme of “Disfunzione Mediterranea”, Ghigos will present “Corredo”, a project about the anachronistic permanence, the memory itself taking form and the conservation, at times surreal, of objects still survivin’ the vortex of contemporaneity, in which they all rediscover new functions.

Next Thursday, 20th February, Ghigos will attend to Clusters Partecipants Meeting, in Bergamo,a series of events and work sessions about the pavillions design and realization. Ghigos will show the project progresses in relation to the rice cluster. Bicocca University will take care about the exhibition contents.

Ghigos is one of the 10 studios awarded in the contest AAA Designer Cercasi with the project called La Piazza. For the competition, promoted by EuroMilano S.p.A and by the Design Department of Politecnico di Milano, Ghigos introduced a new flexible and modular menage, easily customisable, that can be adapted to containers of varied shapes for very demanding diner.

The 13 chairs exhibition is now closed and Ascesa proposes itself in an everyday look: from a spiritual reaserch recalling the pilgrimage to Santiago dedicated to St. James the Greater it now becomes a chair for creative minds, an extendible bookshelf or a discovery game for kids who want to climb it.

Ideas is born by winning the Cre-attivi 2013 competition held by the Monza Chamber of Commerce to support the foundation of new cultural and creative industies. Ideas reinvents itself as an innovative fablab, pursuing its creative and strategic thinking attitude.
