Recycled Stones participates in Wigreen, the Sustainability Open Day that will take place in Milan on 12^th February. The Satelliti collection, designed by Ghigos ideas and produced by the stone company “Moro-il cuore della pietra” (Moro – the heart of the stone), has received a nomination for the Most Sustainable Innovation Award. To this day it is in the lead!

The series of conferences about design organized by dall’Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna carries on with “Ghigos e la serendipity nel progetto” (Ghigos and the serendipity in the project).

It is a participation about the well consolidated design approach which proposes the Lateral Thinking as a working method. It is tested on different project scales: recent examples and historical projects intertwine with design and architecture, in a sur-Real narration.

Design studio Ghigos Ideas and Treed Filaments start a partnership.

Ghigos contributes the “Architectural” series of the 3D printer filaments brand, because today it is possible to print with plastic materials some details that resembles clay, gypsum and stone.

Ghigos intervenes in the conference “Artigiani Reloaded ” (Artisans Reloaded),organized by APA Confartigianato in Lissone presenting the actual experience of a studio which explores new collaborative models to mix up design, self-production, small customizable series and digital fabrication experimentations. Aiming for innovative objects and spaces the firm is enriched by new technological explorations.

On the occasion of Expo 2015 the Museo della Scienza e della Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci in Milan announced an invited competition for the set-up of a great exhibition about food that is remaining visible for ten years.

The exhibit reflects over time and space and it is able to involve the visitor in interactive processes. Ghigos’s project has been declared the winner.

Ghigos Ideas takes part of “Fatti di cultura – pratiche, incontri, esperienze”, the conference organized by Pantacon about business incubators, hubs and start up that transform culture into a developing engine; Ideas presents itself as a new fablab of innovative projects and products supporting the wider laboratory of ideas and cultural strategies that Ghigos has always pursued.
