As every year, at Politecnico, during the course of Guerriero, Ghigos works with a surprise guest share his work with the students. This year we try to shape the invisible thinks of Fabio Novembre, to understand the quality of his relation with world through his actions and his projects.

Ghigos organize a workshop at IED design in Rome continuing the communicative layout started in NABA. Things from the other world are ideas that do not solve the problems, but curious raid between communication and the project to give thoughts to share.

Ghigos Ideas is one of the five emerging architecture practices selected for the second and final stage of the first Young Architects Program promoted together by MAXXI in Rome and MoMA in New York. From December 10 until January 23 Triennale Design Museum, in collaboration with the Italian Trade Commission and the partnership of Unicredit, is set to curate an exhibition entitled “The New Italian Design 2.0” at santralistanbul. The exhibition is an overview of contemporary Italian design explaining and describing the transition of the movement and its links to economic, political and technological changes that occurred over the last century. Among the collection there is Panchina a dondolo (the swinging bench) by ghigos ideas.

On the 4th of December “conteporaneo.doc/DOCVA” will be the exhibition which inaugurates a new section at the MAXXI, named MAXXI Base. Ghigos has been chosen among the young italian architects to design this exhibition which will works as an archive for contemporary artists and will expand its collection during the six months spent in Roma. On the second of December will open the exhibition about young italian architects’ projects curated by GiArch and UTET publisher. Ghigos will present the interior design of the restaurant Piccolo Lago with a model shaped as a mise en place.

On the 20th of November Ghigos has been invited to join the round-table about “Restaurant design”, together with other renowned chefs and architects, organized by BEMA editrice at the “SIA guest” fair in Rimini.

On September 24 and 25, during the first Architecture festival in Umbria (held in Terni) there will take place lectures by young italian architects selected by the publishewr UTET and the groups GiArch. Ghigos Ideas is among those who will hold a panel lately available on-line.
