On friday the 16th Ghigos ideas is invited by prof. Andrea Mannocci and Giacomo Polazzi at the architecture faculty of Flocerence to hold a lecture about the daily experience of a young architecture studio in Italy (the lecture is part of “spot on architecture” meetings).

“La casa come proiezione (mentale)” -the house as a (mental)projection” is a workshop hold by ghigos ideas at the Triennale di Milano Bovisa during the project “Compasso di Latta“. The event will take place on the 13th, 15th and 17th, and it’s open to NABA students as well as anyone else interested in!

A competition has been won to design a luxury hotel on the chinese island of Sanya. The project reverts mandants’requirements merging itself with the sorrounding landscape thus re-designing a lower resolution version of the original hillside.

Right before chinese New Year’s day in Beijing have started the construction works for the gastronomic restaurants “River Club”, a restaurant designed around the italian chef Marco Sacco (rated with two stars by Michelin). The project is being developed from the concept to the front of the house (including furnishing design) and the kitchen design.

The interior design course at the Politecnico di Milano with Alessandro Guerriero just started again, and this year Elio Fiorucci will be our “special” mandant. On Monday the 29th a public psycho-drama will take place in the room CT 58. Fiorucci together with the analyst Mariapia Bobbioni will provide any possible and useful suggestion to the students to design his ideal house.

The preliminary design for a new exhibition space inside the S.Giacomo tower has been presented in Bellagio. The project commited by the association PromoBellagio is an exhibition space developed across 5 floors of two different towers.

The new functional model and the interior design of the youth center in Fiorano Modenese are presentend ot the town, in the meanwhile the building (dated from the early XX century) is already under renovation.

Ghigos ideas has been invited by Fabrizio Gallanti at the Politecnico di Milano, Pianceza campus, to present the project Azzali house. The lecture will be held in room C (Via scalabrini 26, Piacenza).

Bertini Mergarini foundation, together with volunteers associations and media producers, presents the video-contest “Mind the difference“.
