Ghigos Ideas has been invited to the meeting “Urban Display – describe and tell the non-city” on the 11th of December at Galleria Contemporaneo in Mestre, Venice. During the conference has been presented the project “Regali urbani” (Urban Gifts), developed for the city of Milan.
From the 18 of November to the 7 of December inside the Mantua campus of the Politecnico di Milano will be on display the exhibition “Dimenticare a memoria”. It’s a enquiry through the relationship which arose among place, space and memory, based on analysis and re-interpretations of some of the most famous interior designs of the XX century.
YOUNG BLOOD presents every year a selection of talented young italian designers and creatives who have been awarded in Italy or abroad. This year the ceremony has been held in Palazzo Chigi press room, and ghigos ideas was among the selected architects.
Ghigos Ideas has been selected for “Giovani artisti promuovono il Trentino” a project for the local development through art and culture.
On Saturday 10th of October the noprofit network in Milan met the citizenship to talk about mental health.
The whole day has been animated by entertainments and debates, with speech by, among the others, Giampaolo Landi di Chiavenna, Chairman of health in Milan and Anna Gardiner, director of the Development project for Territorial Cares of the departement of Health.
UTET recently published a new atlas on Italian Architecture. MAF – Museo della Arti Femminili is one of the projects selected for the book.
Abitare went to visit the restoraunt “Piccolo Lago”. Something in-between a conversation and an interview arose among Davide Rampello, Fabrizio Gallanti, Marco Sacco, Carlo Sacco e Davide Crippa about the relationships between food and design, particularly about new kitchen build in the restaurant.
During the Festival of Visual Art, promoted by Asilo Bianco, 20 artists and 7 architects were invited to reflect on the relationship among landscape, art, architecture, design and environmental sustainability. Ghigos presented the “panchina a dondolo” (the rocking bench) , a new way to experience the public space. The event took place in Ameno (NO) from the 11th to the 12th of July.
“12X Milano. Visions from the new italian architecture for a city on the move” is an exhibition created by an idea of Carlo Masseroli (chairman of the planning committee ) and Luca Molinari. The exhibition shows 12 video proposals realised by young italian architects to debate about the future of Milan. Among others is on display the video of “Urban presents”. The event will take place in Milan from July the 2nd to September the 4th in URBAN CENTER MILANO, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele 11/12 Milan.
Bertini Margarini foundation has organized again an eventful day named “Fuori dove?” (Out where?) on the 13th of June, at Piazza Mercanti in Milan. This year the key to overcome prejudices and exclusions is the theme of protagonism, as a path from doing to the self-reinvention.
